Registration is required for all presenters and participants of the conference. Co-authors do not need to register unless they plan to participate in the conference.

The registration fee can be paid online via the HKBU secure Bank of East Asia Payment Gateway. This system allows you to pay by credit card (i.e. Visa and MasterCard). Please note that the fee covers conference pack, campus Wi-Fi access, coffee breaks and lunches during the four-day conference, and is non-refundable and non-transferable. The fee does not cover travel, accommodations, conference dinner or other meals not specified.

An official letter of acceptance will be provided upon request.

Conference dinner

The conference dinner will be held on 5 July 2018 (Thur) at Gold Coast Yacht & Country Club, Castle Peak Bay, Tuen Mun, Hong Kong.

Free Coach Transfers:
Depart at 6:30pm from the conference venue at Hong Kong Baptist University to the dinner venue.
Depart at 10:00pm from the dinner venue. Stops include Royal Plaza Hotel, Metropark Kowloon Hotel and Dr Ng Tor Tai International House only.

No on-site registration for the conference dinner will be available.

To register, please click HERE to access the online registration page. You have 15 minutes to complete the form before the system times out.

Do not use the ‘Back’ button during the online registration process. You will have the opportunity to review and edit any registration details before the final stage of confirmation and payment.

Please note all prices charged are in HKD but an equivalent amount in RMB or foreign currencies will be charged to foreign currency cardholders.

Non-refundable registration policy

There will be no refund of fees in case of cancellations, except where visas have been denied (see below). Participants are strongly advised to take out an insurance policy to cover travel and registration costs in case they have to cancel participation in the conference.

Refunds for cancellation owing to denial of visa will be considered on a case-by-case basis, subject to the submission of appropriate documentary evidence, and must be made in writing by 30 June 2018. No refund applications will be considered after this date. Refunds will exclude an administration fee of HKD500 up and all bank charges incurred.

If you want to register as an IATIS member, please make sure your affiliation is valid between the moment you register and the last day of the conference. You can check your status by logging in onto the IATIS main page and by clicking upon my membership. This information will be cross-checked on the IATIS DATABASE by the Hong Kong Organizing Committee.

Special deadlines

Delegates will have to register by 31 May 2018 to have their presentations included in the conference programme. After 31 May 2018, late registration will be open only to those wishing to attend the conference without giving any form of presentation whatsoever. Onsite registration will be open to attendees only and higher fees will apply.
