Employer profile: In 2009 The Translation Studies Graduate Programme at the University of Edinburgh was awarded four scholarships from the Arts and Humanities Research Council (Block Grants Partnership) for our MSc and PhD degrees in translation studies. These are prestigious studentships which are available over a five-year period, offering full UK/EU fees for all years of study and an annual maintenance award of approximately 13,000 pounds (PhD) or 9,000 pounds (MSc).
The first of these scholarships was awarded for the 2010/2011 session and was for a Professional Preparation Masters Scheme, allowing one candidate to study on our MSc in Translation Studies degree.
The second of these scholarships will be for the 2011/2012 session and will allow one candidate to study on PhD in Translation Studies.
