The role
This is an opportunity to be part of one of UK’s largest concentrations of high-quality research and teaching in languages and linguistics. Home to the internationally renowned Centre for Translation and Intercultural Studies, The School of Arts, Languages and Cultures is looking for a lecturer in translation and interpreting studies.  As an active and collegial member of the team, you will participate fully in our wide-ranging activities, as well as initiating your own.
 
The person
You will be building a significant research profile in the field, publishing high-quality outputs and developing applications for external research funding. An enthusiastic and innovative teacher, committed to delivering a high-quality student experience on our MA programmes, you will also be ready to take a leading role in developing new translation studies teaching on our undergraduate programmes in languages.
