The interdisciplinary event brings together Imagology, Translation Studies and Canadian Studies. It aims to enrich the curricula in Translation Studies, European Languages and Cultures, and Teacher of Foreign Languages, and contribute to the research methodology course offerings of the Graduate School of Culture Studies and Arts as well as the Graduate School of Linguistics, Philosophy and Semiotics. This event, featuring scholars from Belgium, Canada, Estonia, Germany, Hungary and Turkey, takes place in two parts on two days. It begins with The Graduate Colloquium “Translating Images of Canada” on 7 May 2019 and is followed by The Doctoral Workshop “Imagological Approaches and Methods in the Humanities” on 8 May 2019.
