We favour preferably young researchers from all over Europe with good knowledge on metaphor use in specialised contexts. Most of the expenses of the trip will be covered by the workshop organization (pending funding availability).

Universidad Politécnica de Madrid is happy to offer the opportunity to participate in a "Metaphor in Engineering Workshop", including the translation of metaphor, to take place in London in July 2014. Participants should have proven research experience in metaphor studies and be willing to contribute their expertise in the workshop.
