Call for papers MonTI  7 (2015)

The Departments of Linguistics and Language Practice at the University of the Free State, Afrikaans and Dutch at the University of Stellenbosch and Literature and Language at the University of Zambia, in cooperation with IATIS, are presenting the Third Summer School for Translation Studies (SSTSA) in Africa from 18 to 22 August 2014. The hosts are the University of Zambia in Lusaka.

Translation Spaces: A multidisciplinary, multimedia, and multilingual journal of translation, published annually by John Benjamins Publishing Company, has just completed publication of Volume 2 and is currently accepting submissions for Volume 3! The journal actively encourages researchers from diverse domains, and publishes peer-reviewed articles (approximately 10,500 words) in seven permanent topical tracks.

The Yearbook of Phraseology would like to invite you to submit papers on the relationship between phraseology and translation.

Call for Papers: The English & Translation Society (ETS) at Sultan Qaboos University, Oman, is hosting the 11th Annual Translation Symposium on 6-9 April 2014. Organized by students, the event will seek to provide a platform for participants to discuss diverse theoretical and practical issues related to the role of translation in media and, specifically, news production.
