The Program of Comparative Literature in the Department of Languages, Literatures, and Cultures at the University of Massachusetts Amherst announces a search for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor in Translation Studies, to begin September 1, 2018. We particularly welcome candidates with solid experience or training in non-European languages and cultures, dynamic scholars specializing in research across several languages and cultures, and scholars with expertise in the history of translation, audiovisual translation, or the relationship of translation and literary scholarship.
