The School of Politics, Philosophy, Language and Communication Studies at the University of East Anglia wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Interpreting (with Spanish) to enhance our very successful teaching in these areas and to complement our research in Area Studies. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate clearly defined research plans including the publication of world-class research. They will be able to demonstrate that they are a highly motivated educator ready to contribute to the consolidation and extension of the School’s popular teaching in Interpreting, Translation and Modern Foreign Languages at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
Applications from women candidates and those from a minority ethnic background are particularly welcome as these groups are currently underrepresented within the School.
This full time post is available from 1 September on an indefinite basis.
